German Estrella - Japanese Estrella A German standard Estrellas can easily be distinguished from a Japanese standard Estrella by the round mirrors (E) and the bigger round indicators (C). They have probably been changed to fulfil the European respectively German import and admission standards. This might also be the reason why German (European) Estrellas have different carburettors (F). The German carburettor has a different interior and also a different carburettor cover. All German Estrellas produces only 17 instead of the Japanese 21 PS. All German BJ250 As were originally sold with saddle (like the Japanese B-version), but porter racks (A) on the back fender instead of pillions. So, the German version has no second pair of foot rests (G). The double bench of the BJ250 C can be installed, but in many countries the papers have to be changed! |
