In 2001 Kawasaki for the first time released two Limited Editions versions of the Estrella - unfortunately only for the asian market. The BJ250 G1 (above left) was a special version of the BJ250 C, equipped with a brown-white double bench. Additionally to the fenders, also the headlight housing and side caps were chromed. The tank had a marvelous small decorative chrome strip.
The BJ250 H1 (above right) had the same extras, but was based on the BJ250 D. While the BJ250 G has come out in several models, the BJ250 H1 has been the only BJ250 H limited edition model so far.

After a one year’s break, the next Limited Edition model BJ250 G2 (left) came into the Japanese shops in 2003.

While the G1 only had small decorative chrome strips, the G2 got a half chromed tank. Also the logo changed.
The colour reminds a bit of a Triumph Thunderbird Sport ...

Next Limited Edition model was the Estrella BJ250 G3 (left), issued in 2003.

The same basic colour as the G1 but with the half chromed tank and the logo of the G2.

Seemingly tradition, Kawasaki brought the BJ250 G4 (left) Limited Edition in 2005. Besides the tank colour, tgis time the colour of the bench was changed.

The next Limited Edition model in 2006 was not named BJ250 G5 but BJ250 G6F - following the new Kawasaki number system.

All following Limited Edition models were named »J« - like the normal Estrellas.
