The Estrella was officially in the programme of Kawasaki Germany from 1994 until 1999 in two versions and three variations. The German Estrellas can be distinguished easily by their mirrors and indicators. The German A-version also had a luggage rack instead of a pillion on the rear fender as standard and was only permitted for single person use. No German Estrella has hazard lights and the different carburettors produce only 17 PS instead of the Japanese 21 PS.
